Teruhiro Yanagihara 테루히로 야나기하라
테루히로 야나기하라는 일본 가가와에서 1976 태어나 1999년에 오사카 미술대학 졸업. 개인 작업실을 운영하던 중 2002년에 오사카에 회사를 설립했습니다. 2011년부터는 교토로 이전. 인테리어와 프로덕트 디자인을 비롯 크리에이티브 디렉터와 브랜딩 작업 까지국제적인 클라이언트를 대상으로 다양한 분양에 걸쳐 작업하고 있습니다.
가리모쿠 뉴 스탠다드 KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD 초기 디렉터로 브랜드 컨셉에 맞는 디자이너들을 선별하는 과정에 참여했을 뿐만 아니가 직접 KNS 가구 디자인에 참여하기도 했습니다. 파일 PILE, 하프웨이 HALF WAY 등 초기 KNS 디자인의 컨셉을 잘 드러내는 가구들을 선보였습니다. 2011년에는 일본 최고의 장인과 제작자와 함께 국제적인 콜렉터들을 대상으로 작품을 선보이는 테루히로 야나기하라/ 비스포크를 론칭했고. 2010년에 그 해의 엘르데코 영 탈렌트 후보로 선정되었습니다.
Teruhiro Yanagihara was born in 1976 in Kagawa Japan. After graduating from Osaka University of Art in 1999, he started to work independently and established his own company in Osaka in 2002, since 2011 based in Kyoto. He has been working in various fields, from interior and product design to creative direction and branding for Japanese and international clients, such as Offecct (Sw), Pallucco (It), Sergio Rossi (It), Less Is More/ LIM Group (Jp), Kimura Glass (Jp), and many others.
In 2011, TeruhiroYanagihara initiated the scheme TERUHIRO YANAGIHARA/bespoke, a label for exclusive, bespoke projects, created with the finest japanese artisans and manufacturers, that targets international collectors and galleries. He was nominated Elle Decor Young Talent of the Year 2010. He is founding member of the yearly symposium Designeast and the creative director of the KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD brand.
Scholten & Baijings 숄튼 앤드 바잉
스테판 숄튼(1972)과 캐롤 바잉(1973)은 숄튼 앤드 바잉은 2000년 숄튼 앤 바잉 스튜디오를 설립했습니다. 독특한 어떤면에서는 네덜란드 풍이 거의 느껴지지 않는 디자인 스타일 안에서 미니멀적 형태와 색의 균형적 사용을 전통적 공예기법과 산업 제작 공정과 접목시킵니다. 헤이과 가리모쿠 뉴 스랜다드, 토마스 익 을 포함한 세계 여러 브랜드와 함께 작업하고 있습니다.
숄튼 앤 바잉의 작업들은 세계적으로 뮤지엄, 개인 콜렉터들에게 소장되고 있습니다. 2011년 엘르데코 영 디자이너 탈렌트 수상했고 더치 디자인 어워드, 월페이퍼 디자인 어워드를 수상했습니다.
Stefan Scholten (1972) and Carole Baijings (1973) established Scholten & Baijings, Studio for Design, in 2000. They combine minimal forms and balanced use of colour with traditional craft techniques and industrial production in a distinctive, almost un-Dutch design style.
They work for companies and institutions such as the Zuiderzee Museum, Audax Textile Museum, RoyalVKB, Established & Sons, HAY, Thomas Eyck, Pastoe and many more. Their work has been purchased by several museums and private collectors and is sold worldwide. They recently received their second Dutch Design Award, won a Wallpaper Design Award and were rewarded with the ELLE Decoration International Design Award for Young Designer Talent 2011.
